Attention Jon Jones HATERS!

Jonathan Dwight "Jon" Jones is an American mixed martial artist and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He is widely regarded as the best mixed martial arts fighter in the world and as one of the greatest fighters of all time. When he won the title in March 2011 at the age of 23, he became the youngest champion in the Ultimate Fighting Championship's history. He was ranked as the #1 light heavyweight fighter in the world by various media outlets for a number of years, and was also ranked the #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world by multiple publications. However, in April 2015, Jones was stripped of his title and was removed from the official rankings following his arrest on felony hit-and-run charges.

ABOUT US:
As current students, teachers, and ambassadors of martial arts, the martial arts tutors will give you insight in your martial arts training from a modern day perspective steeped in the roots of a traditional background. Major topics such as martial arts controversies, the best training methods, and the issues of false methodology will all be discussed in video and/or text format.

If you look at our earlier videos, we featured many tutorials based upon our Taekwondo experience. With the popular growth of combative sports, we have changed our approach to teaching after training in new martial arts such as Boxing, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Muay Thai. We still may upload tutorials in the future; however, it is very likely that they would be focused more on a variety of martial arts rather than just Taekwondo.

Mcdojo Madness: Contracts in Martial Arts

Contracts are a big issue in the martial arts community. While some businesses may use contracts to help out their business, the student must know the risks they are taking by signing up with a contract. Overall, we have found that month to month systems typically result in good martial art schools.

Taekwondo Self Defense Doesn't Work

Please keep in mind not all schools are like the one's we've experienced. we are talking about PURE taekwondo, not a school that mixed disciplines but offers taekwondo.

No resistance = no real technique. It's that simple.
"Martial" means having to do with or suitable for war.
And "art" means  skill at doing a specified thing, typically one acquired through practice. If you aren't learning something suitable for combat through repetition, you are learning how to dance and punch the air. Not apply techniques in a life or death situation. The community needs to be aware that pure taekwondo schools in our world today will not teach you the fundamental skills for self-defense and how to fight. Sure it may look good in movies, but in the ring, on the street, ect. It won't work. There may be some schools out there however, that offer taekwondo in addition to other martial arts. But a pure taekwondo school would not do that for you.
